You must be here because you want to know more about our family and our business. So let me tell
you a little bit about who we are.
My wife and I got married in August 2012, we got engaged a whopping week after we started dating
and got married, 6 months later. I know right?! No commitment issues in this family =)
Our first son, Jax (yes named after Jax from SOA), was born in 2013 and our second, Ronin
came in 2015. We also have an older son, Ethan who is always there to help out with his brothers when we need him, and with this business it has been needed a lot.
From and early age I found my passion in art, and it started with superheroes, comics, and video games.
My brother and I would always draw together and push eachother to be better. As we got older I realized that I wanted to make it my career. I went to college and got a degree in Game Art & Design, thinking that I would want to create video games for the rest of my life. But little did I know what life was about to throw at me!
My wife and I started as friends and eventually blossomed into much more than that. As our family
grew, we finally got to settle down and look at our passions and ask eachother what we wanted to do with it. She told me that she would support me 100% and I decided to start Na Koa Brand in 2013. After a couple of years and some pretty big success, I noticed that the women weren’t getting the attention they deserved, so I decided to split it into two brands; Nakoa and Ho’omana. Nakoa of course stands for being brave; fearless in hopes that we can push men and youth to live life to the fullest, without fear. Ho’omana stands for empowerment, which i’m sure is a movement and value we can all get behind.
So I basically created two sides of a coin and together they create an unbreakable wall for living life to the
fullest. We hope that you can embrace this for yourself and your ohana.
My goal is to create subtle, but powerful pieces of art from the many types of polynesian tattoo styles, and to then use these designs to create unqiue boutique style clothing and accessories. All designs are hand drawn by me and all have meanings behind them and let’s not forget that my wife will be handmaking all of your jewelry.
This is us in a nutshell, we hope to establish a relationship with all of you and can conitue to serve you in
the coming future. Mahalo from the Kanahele ohana
